Aukey SK-M8 IP64 Bluetooth 4.0 Loudspeaker
After I recently introduced a Bluetooth speaker from Aukey (see here), I would like to present to you today the next speaker, the Aukey SK-M8 IP64 Bluetooth 4.0 loudspeaker.
Scope of delivery
The Aukey SK-M8 IP64 Bluetooth 4.0 loudspeaker comes with a wide range of accessories:
- 1 x Aukey SK-M8 Portable Wireless Speaker
- 1 x USB Charging cable
- 1 x 3.5 mm Audio cable
- 1 x Reset Pin
- 1 x Hanging Loop
- 1 x User manual
- 1 x 24 Month warranty Card
The frame is covered by a green rubber cover, which provides good protection against falls. Unfortunately, the front and back are not as well protected. On the top are also the various buttons for various functions such as on/off, phone or back and backward. The buttons do not fall in colour and are well integrated into the frame. Visually, it is already seen that it was developed for the outdoor area, because it seems less noble than the other model I have presented.
The loudspeakers are protected by a metal metallic grille on the front. On the back are the connectors for micro USB and the Aux cable as well as the reset button. There is also a thread on the underside, which allows you to screw the loudspeaker onto a tripod.
The loudspeaker is not quite as small: 17 centimeters wide, 7.2 centimeters high and 5.6 centimeters deep. But it weighs only about 310 grams, so it is quite pleasant in weight.
Again, I had no problems with the connection to my Windowsphone. After charging, I switched on the loudspeaker and connected it to my phone via Bluetooth. Simply tap the desired device in the Bluetooth set-up on your mobile phone and the rest will happen automatically.
Thanks to the built-in 2600 mah battery, the loudspeaker promises up to 16 hours of music enjoyment. But it is not only suitable for listening to music, but also for telephoning using the built-in microphone. The loudspeaker is very well sealed against dust and water (protection class IP64). Protection class IP64 means the AUKEY SK-M8 bluetooth loudspeaker has a grade 6 protection against dust and a grade 4 protection against water.
The sound quality is quite solid and my feeling is better than the Aukey SK M7. The ups and downs are clear and even the bass can convince. However, I have tested the loudspeaker only in closed rooms, the test at a summer barbecue party I have to push back a little.
The AUKEY SK-M8 Bluetooth 4.0 loudspeaker is definitely recommended for a Outdoorprodukt, which should have as little wind and weather and dirt as possible and that also delivers a good sound. Visually he doesn't convince me so much, I like rather simple, noble design. Total
For this product test I was allowed to test the Bluetooth loudspeaker of Aukey free of charge. You can find more information about the product here: click *
